(AP) \u2014 Right-hander Mark Leiter Jr. and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxsports.com\/mlb\/oakland-athletics-team\" class=\"entity\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Athletics<\/a> completed their $2.85 million, one-year contract on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ff-h fs-16 lh-1pt6 mg-b-15 article-content\" use-external-image=\"true\" data-v-7f81ca7a=\"\">Leiter, 34, is the latest pitcher to leave the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxsports.com\/mlb\/new-york-yankees-team\" class=\"entity\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Yankees<\/a> after they declined to tender him a contract last month along with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxsports.com\/mlb\/devin-williams-player\" class=\"entity\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Devin Williams<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxsports.com\/mlb\/luke-weaver-player\" class=\"entity\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Luke Weaver<\/a>.
