Model and actress Devon Aoki\u2019s husband, James Bailey, is reportedly facing felony charges<\/a> for a hit-and-run. According to an arrest report obtained by Florida station WPLG Local 10<\/a>, Bailey, a South Florida investor and financier, was driving an Audi SQ7 SUV on Monday evening when he allegedly hit a man riding a scooter in a crosswalk in downtown Miami. The victim\u2019s girlfriend told authorities that her boyfriend\u2019s \u201cleft foot was stuck under the vehicle\u2019s right tire\u201d and that she was \u201cfrantically asking\u201d Bailey to back up his vehicle. The girlfriend said Bailey eventually pulled away but did so \u201cwithout rendering aid, providing information, or reporting the crash to police\u201d and left the victim in the street with two foot fractures and a \u201clarge contusion to his left calf.\u201d<\/p>\n After the woman provided a description to police, investigators reportedly tracked the Audi to its registered home address on Southwest 59th Avenue, the eight-bedroom, $9 million mansion where Aoki and Bailey reside. When Pinecrest police knocked on the door, per the arrest report, Aoki answered and claimed she \u201cdid not know the whereabouts\u201d of the car. The report claims that Bailey drove up in the Audi\u00a0just as authorities turned to leave and locked himself inside the home. After a few minutes, he came back outside and surrendered to police. The Coral Gables Police Department report claims there was no indication of alcohol or drug use.<\/p>\n Bailey appeared in Miami-Dade bond court Tuesday morning, where Judge Mindy Glazer found probable cause for two charges: hit-and-run causing serious bodily injury and resisting without violence. Bailey was booked into the Miami-Dade jail, and bail was set for $7,500. He was released from the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center Tuesday evening and did not speak to press while walking to his car. \u201cWe are currently gathering information about this accident as it involved someone operating a scooter entering an intersection,\u201d Bailey\u2019s attorney, Michelle Suskauer, told TMZ.<\/p>\n Bailey and Aoki have been married for 14 years and share four children.
