(WRAL) &#8211; State health leaders are issuing a warning after they say someone with measles traveled through a Raleigh-Durham International Airport terminal while infected last week.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services says the person arrived at terminal two early in the morning on December 10.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Health officials say anyone who was in the terminal from 4 to 8 a.m. that day may have been exposed to measles and should monitor for measles-like symptoms until January 1.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.wral.com\/news\/local\/rdu-measles-exposure-dec-10-2025\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.wral.com\/news\/local\/rdu-measles-exposure-dec-10-2025\/\">WRAL reports<\/a> that DHHS says the traveler is from out of state and there are no known health risks at the airport.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Public health leaders are recommending all unvaccinated individuals who are a year old and up get the measles vaccine to protect themselves and others.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">If you have any questions, the state encourages you to contact your local health department.<\/p>\n<p class=\"copyright |\">Copyright 2025 WITN.
