CASPER, Wyo. \u2014 The Casper Police Department announced on Friday that it is actively searching for a suspect in connection with a stabbing that occurred on Thursday evening. <\/p>\n
A release from the CPD states that officers are seeking the public\u2019s assistance in locating 41-year-old Nathanael Weston Wood of Casper.<\/p>\n
The release states that at approximately 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 18, Casper police officers responded to the area of East 12th Street and South Walsh Drive following a report of an assault involving a knife.<\/p>\n
Upon arriving at the scene, officers located an adult victim who had sustained injuries consistent with a stabbing. Officers immediately rendered medical aid, and the victim was transported to the hospital with serious injuries.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe investigation determined the parties involved were known to each other and that this was an isolated incident,\u201d the release notes. <\/p>\n
Wood is described as being a white male, approximately 5-foot-9, weighing about 160 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. He has tattoos on his face and neck.<\/p>\n
\u201cWood should be considered armed and dangerous,\u201d the release states. \u201cIf spotted, do not approach and call 911.\u201d <\/p>\n
