Brace yourselves: this one\u2019s going to be a waltz of emotions. Our three finalist couples \u2013 energetic Karen Carney and Carlos Gu, flawless Amber Davies and Nikita Kuzmin, and a hip-shaking George Clarke and Alexis Warr \u2013 take to the floor one last time, with songs including a Texas classic and a Killers banger, before the winner lifts the glitterball trophy. But then it\u2019s time for Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly to sign off. After more than a decade presenting the show together, there are bound to be some tears and shared memories for the send-off of all send-offs. Sharing more DNA with Ian Dury than their two-tone peers, but with a slapstick surrealism entirely their own, Madness occupy an almost unique place in pop, Nutty-dancing from music hall (House of Fun) to English romanticism (the Nick Drake-alike One Better Day) without ever losing their identity.
