Sunday’s big Premier League<\/a> clash was a fun one, as Unai Emery’s Aston Villa<\/a> defeated Ruben Amorim and Manchester United<\/a> 2-1 at Villa Park.<\/p>\n Morgan Rogers<\/a> was the hero for Villa, scoring either side of half-time as Emery & Co. won their 10th straight game in all competitions. His first, on the cusp of half time, was a brilliant solo effort as he cut in from the left and curled one into the top right corner from the edge of the area.<\/p>\n Matheus Cunha<\/a> pulled one back for United barely three minutes later, seizing on Matty Cash<\/a>‘s loss of possession and firing beyond Emi Martinez before half-time. However, Rogers was on hand in the 57th minute to pounce on a loose ball in the box and curl it home.<\/p>\n The win means Villa go seven points clear of fourth-place Chelsea<\/a> and sit just three points behind league leaders Arsenal<\/a> after 17 matches.
