The season 27 premiere of \u201cSouth Park\u201d may have been delayed two weeks<\/a>, but it made quite an entrance Wednesday night \u2013 so much so that even the White House took note. It is perhaps not all that surprising since President Donald Trump played a starring role.<\/p>\n

Though many of Trump\u2019s real-world policies and actions were spotlighted in the show \u2013 such as defunding National Public Radio<\/a>, implementing tariffs on Canadian goods<\/a>, and expressing displeasure with a portrait of himself in the Colorado State Capitol<\/a> \u2013 the animated version of the president indulged in other lewd shenanigans, like trying to have sex with Satan. As in the devil, Satan, who has been a longstanding character in the \u201cSouth Park\u201d universe.<\/p>\n

In the episode, Satan also questioned Trump about the Epstein files and alluded to the fact that the president reminded him of his ex, Saddam Hussein. The episode ended with a deep-fake public service announcement<\/a> that showed Trump walking through the desert, taking off his clothes and collapsing nude in the sand. It ended with the slogan: \u201cTrump. His penis is teeny tiny, but his love for us is large.\u201d<\/p>\n

In a statement to Variety<\/a>, White House spokesperson Taylor Rogers addressed the cameo, lambasting \u201cSouth Park\u201d as a \u201cfourth-rate show.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Left\u2019s hypocrisy truly has no end \u2013 for years, they have come after \u2018South Park\u2019 for what they labeled as \u2018offensive\u2019 content, but suddenly they are praising the show. Just like the creators of \u2018South Park,\u2019 the Left has no authentic or original content, which is why their popularity continues to hit record lows.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThis show hasn\u2019t been relevant for over 20 years and is hanging on by a thread with uninspired ideas in a desperate attempt for attention,\u201d the statement continued. \u201cPresident Trump has delivered on more promises in just six months than any other president in our country\u2019s history \u2013 and no fourth-rate show can derail President Trump\u2019s hot streak.\u201d<\/p>\n

In addition to skewering Trump, \u201cSouth Park\u201d creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone took aim at their parent network, Paramount, which recently settled a lawsuit with the president for $16 million<\/a>. The president sued CBS News for allegedly editing a \u201c60 Minutes\u201d interview with presidential candidate Kamala Harris in a deceptive manner.<\/p>\n

Legal experts said the case had no legs, and \u201cThe Late Show\u201d host Stephen Colbert called the settlement a \u201cbig fat bribe\u201d<\/a> to persuade the government to approve Paramount\u2019s merger with another media company called Skydance. Days later, \u201cThe Late Show,\u201d which aired on CBS, was canceled<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In the \u201cSouth Park\u201d episode, Jesus \u2013 yes, that Jesus \u2013 comes to warn the citizens of South Park, Colorado, to stop protesting the president or they, too, may get canceled.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe guy can do whatever he wants now that someone backed down, OK?\u201d Jesus says. \u201cDo you really wanna end up like Colbert?\u201d<\/p>\n

Parker and Stone have been outspokenly critical of the networks\u2019 merger<\/a>, going so far as to say it\u2019s ruining \u201cSouth Park,\u201d in much more colorful language. For now, season 27 seems like it will go on as planned. On Wednesday, the show and network announced they\u2019d reached a five-year deal<\/a> to make 50 new episodes and move the entire \u201cSouth Park\u201d library to Paramount+ \u2014 for a reported $1.5 billion<\/a>.<\/p>\n
