Very hot.<\/p>\n<p>So did the streaking and very good Jaguars \u2013 and as a result, they won a very big December game in very convincing fashion in the toughest of environments.<\/p>\n<p>Lawrence threw 3 more touchdowns and ran for another, and the AFC South-leading Jaguars enhanced their playoff positioning yet again with a <a class=\"nfl-o-cta--link nfl-o-cta--underline\" style=\"word-break: break-word\" href=\"https:\/\/www.jaguars.com\/game-day\/2025\/reg-week16\/jaguars-at-broncos\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">34-20 victory over the AFC West-leading Denver Broncos at Empower Field at Mile High<\/a> Sunday afternoon.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Great team win \u2013 just thankful that a small-market team like ours can come into a place like Mile High and get it done,&#8221; <a class=\"nfl-o-cta--link nfl-o-cta--underline\" style=\"word-break: break-word\" href=\"https:\/\/www.jaguars.com\/team\/coaches-roster\/liam-coen\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Jaguars Head Coach Liam Coen<\/a> said, tongue planted in cheek, with Lawrence adding: &#8220;It&#8217;s a big game and just proud of the guys.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This team&#8217;s coming together,&#8221; Lawrence added. &#8220;I&#8217;m proud of the guys. We came ready to go.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The Jaguars (11-4) maintained their 1-game lead in the AFC South over the Houston Texans (10-5) and moved to with a game of the Broncos (12-3) for the top seed in the AFC. The Texans beat the 2-13 Las Vegas Raiders, 23-21, in Houston Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We just beat the best team,&#8221; Jaguars safety <a class=\"nfl-o-cta--link nfl-o-cta--underline\" style=\"word-break: break-word\" href=\"https:\/\/www.jaguars.com\/team\/players-roster\/andrew-wingard\/\" title=\"Andrew Wingard\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Andrew Wingard<\/a> said. &#8220;Our offense is on a heater. The best part about us is we don&#8217;t care. This is not our Super Bowl.
