Mickey Lee, who competed on season 27 of Big Brother<\/a>, has been hospitalized and is in “critical condition” after suffering a “series of cardiac arrests.”\n<\/p>\n

Lee’s friends and family detailed her condition in a GoFundMe page<\/a> established on Monday to help cover the expenses incurred by this “sudden health crisis.”\n<\/p>\n

“Today, we’re coming together with heavy hearts to ask for your support,” fundraiser organizer Kori Smith noted. “Mickey recently suffered a series of cardiac arrests and is now in the ICU in critical but stable condition. She has been surrounded by medical professionals and loved ones, but the road ahead will be long and challenging.”\n<\/p>\n

Lee’s family is asking for donations as her health emergency has left them “facing enormous emotional and financial strain from mounting hospital bills to ongoing care and recovery costs.”\n<\/p>\n

“Mickey has touched so many lives through her courage, bold personality, and unforgettable presence on Big Brother. Let’s show her the same love and support now when she needs it most. Thank you for your generosity, prayers, and support,” the page reads.\n<\/p>\n

The GoFundMe has raised $12,000 of its $22,000 goal.<\/p>\n

Originally hailing from Jacksonville, Fla., Lee currently resides in Atlanta, according to the GoFundMe. She noted her residence in Atlanta and described herself as an “event curator” during her run on Big Brother earlier this year.\n<\/p>\n

Big Brother season 27 concluded on Sept. 28, with 25-year-old New York City-based attorney Ashley Hollis walking away the winner. Lee made it to day 59 before being evicted \u2014\u00a0about the middle of the pack, and one day before franchise fan-favorite Rachel Reilly was also sent home.\n<\/p>\n

Though Lee didn’t advance to the climactic finale, she was well-remembered by her castmates during an interview with <\/a>Entertainment Weekly<\/a> just days before Hollis’ win. Cliffton “Will” Williams, a 50-year-old college sports podcaster who was evicted on day 66 and returned as a member of the jury that eventually chose the winner, named Lee as the one contestant voted out pre-jury that he wished he could have saved.\n<\/p>\n

“Mickey\u00a0for sure. Mickey and I were close in the house, and she’s a good friend. We vibed a lot in the house.
