The 2025 Kennedy Center Honors event is airing tonight on CBS, and we have all the details.<\/p>\n
This year\u2019s event is hosted by Donald Trump<\/a>, and is a celebration of the arts for the year.<\/p>\n The event takes place at the famed Washington, DC performing arts venue.<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/p>\n This year\u2019s honorees are George Strait<\/a>, Rock band KISS<\/a> (Paul Stanley<\/a>, Gene Simmons<\/a>, Peter Criss<\/a>, Ace Frehley<\/a>), Tony winner Michael Crawford<\/a>, Grammy winner Gloria Gaynor<\/a>, and Rocky\u2018s Sylvester Stallone<\/a>.<\/p>\n Some attendees you\u2019ll see on stage include Kurt Russell<\/a>, Vince Gill, Miranda Lambert<\/a>, Elle King<\/a>, Neal McDonough<\/a>, Brooks & Dunn, and Laura Osnes<\/a>, among others.<\/p>\n Trump and his wife, Melania Trump<\/a>, were in attendance, as well as other celebrity guests.<\/p>\n By the way, if you missed it, Trump\u2018s name is being added to the Kennedy Center building.<\/a> A Kennedy relative spoke out and slammed the decision<\/a>, claiming that microphones were muted during the board meeting and thus, it was not unanimously decided.<\/p>\n Tonight\u2019s event runs from 8pm-10:30pm ET.<\/p>\n We have photos from the event inside the gallery\u2026<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"The 2025 Kennedy Center Honors event is airing tonight on CBS, and we have all the details.
