As Rasmussen <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theprp.com\/2025\/11\/24\/news\/vitriols-kyle-rasmussen-says-drugs-police-were-involved-in-his-bandmates-abandoning-him-on-tour-this-week-ex-guitarist-fires-back\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">claimed afterwards<\/a>, his bandmates\u2019 decision to quit en masse and strand him on the opposite side of the country from his Oregon home was the culmination of tensions from touring and personality conflicts running high.<\/p>\n<p>According to Rasmussen, the eventual blowout was exacerbated by the rigors of the road and some excessive consumption of cocaine \u2014 or as Rasmussen put it, \u2018nose beers.\u2019 Uncertain of the future of Vitriol at the time, Ramussen <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theprp.com\/2025\/11\/27\/news\/thanks-to-crowdfunding-over-10000-vitriols-kyle-rasmussen-is-headed-back-home-after-being-abandoned-by-his-bandmates-mid-tour\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">turned to crowdfunding<\/a> to raise enough money to get back home, ultimately raising over $10,000 via that campaign.<\/p>\n<p>In a post shared by Vitriol yesterday, December 22nd, Rasmussen vowed to honor the band\u2019s previously announced support slot on a European tour with B\u00f6lzer, The Ruins Of Beverast, Mis\u00feyrming and Trepaneringsritualen. However, it remains unclear as to who will be backing him during that trek. That post read as follows:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am pleased to announce that, even in light of recent events, Vitriol will still be supporting the mighty @bolzerband alongside @misthyrming, @theruinsofbeverast, and @t__r__p__ across Europe this upcoming February.
