Sadio Mane<\/a> has summed up every Liverpool fan\u2019s feelings on Roberto Firmino<\/a>, whose shirt is the only one up in his house, saying \u201cI\u2019ve never seen a football player like him.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mane and Firmino played alongside each other at Liverpool for six years, forming along with Mohamed Salah<\/a> one of the most devastating attacking trios in history.<\/p>\n

As a striker who has scored almost 250 goals across spells with Metz, Salzburg, Southampton<\/a>, Liverpool, Bayern Munich<\/a> and now Al-Nassr, no player has assisted Mane more times than Firmino (19).<\/p>\n

It is the Brazilian\u2019s selflessness and unique flair that make him such a popular player, so much so that his shirt is the only one hung up in Mane\u2019s house.<\/p>\n

Why Firmino is unlike any other player \u2013 Mane<\/p>\n

\u201cExceptional, exceptional. For me, since I\u2019ve grown up I\u2019ve never seen a football player like Bobby. Never,\u201d he told the Rio Meets podcast.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve never seen a teammate like Bobby in my life. He\u2019s the only player from my life whose shirt I\u2019ve got up in my house.<\/p>\n

\u201cBobby Firmino, what he\u2019s able to do, I can\u2019t. Even myself. I\u2019ve never seen any player doing it. He\u2019s special.<\/p>\n

\u201cSometimes Salah could score, I could score, in the changing room he doesn\u2019t care. Me, you do this, I would be angry. Salah, you do this, he would be angry.<\/p>\n

\u201cSometimes we players are like this, but Bobby, sometimes I look at him and think \u2018what kind of person is this?\u2019.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve never seen him angry with anybody, I never saw him angry.<\/p>\n

\u201cObviously it\u2019s more than football. In life, he\u2019s always like this. Bobby Firmino is more than a football player.\u201d<\/p>\n

Roberto Firmino: An all-time Liverpool favourite<\/p>\n

It is clear that Firmino is not only an all-time fans\u2019 favourite, but also a players\u2019 player: one of the most uniquely gifted but equally humble talents in the history of the sport.<\/p>\n

His ability transcends what he offers on the pitch, as he set the standard both on and off the ball during his time as Liverpool\u2019s No. 9.<\/p>\n

Since leaving Anfield respectively, Mane and Firmino have faced each other on three occasions: the Senegalese winning two along with one draw between Al-Nassr and Al-Ahli.<\/p>\n
