{"id":368974,"date":"2025-12-25T07:35:06","date_gmt":"2025-12-25T07:35:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/368974\/"},"modified":"2025-12-25T07:35:06","modified_gmt":"2025-12-25T07:35:06","slug":"nuggets-forward-cameron-johnson-avoids-major-knee-injury-but-will-miss-a-few-games-ap-source-says-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/368974\/","title":{"rendered":"Nuggets forward Cameron Johnson avoids major knee injury but will miss a few games, AP source says"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>DENVER (AP) \u2014 The Denver Nuggets got good news Wednesday when an MRI revealed that forward Cameron Johnson suffered only a bone bruise to his right knee and not any ligament or structural damage, according to a person familiar with the medical test results.<\/p>\n<p>The person spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because the team didn&#8217;t announce the results of Johnson&#8217;s MRI.<\/p>\n<p>Johnson got hurt early in the fourth quarter of <a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/mavericks-nuggets-score-c6101c02cc25d2ec2c9c4af265172a2a\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Denver&#8217;s 131-130 loss at Dallas<\/a> on Tuesday night.<\/p>\n<p>There isn&#8217;t a timetable for his return but Johnson is expected to miss a few games.
