The 23-year-old is a safe pair of hands between the sticks and can only get better.<\/p>\n In October, claims emerged in the Real Madrid media that Lammens has been asking Courtois<\/a> about life in the Spanish capital and \u2018how Real Madrid operates\u2019.<\/p>\n Courtois even jokingly told Lammens, according to the report: \u2018When I leave in a few years, I will leave you my locker at Madrid\u2019.<\/p>\n Diogo Dalot (Manchester United) \u2013 Right-back<\/p>\n Our transfer correspondent, Graeme Bailey, reported on December 13 that Real Madrid are keen on Man Utd right-back Diogo Dalot<\/a>.<\/p>\n Madrid signed Trent Alexander-Arnold from Liverpool in the summer of 2025, but Dani Carvajal is 33 now.<\/p>\n Los Blancos also find Dalot\u2019s versatility appealing, with the Portugal international, who is still only 26, able to play on the right flank as well as on the left.<\/p>\n Harry Maguire (Manchester United) \u2013 Centre-back<\/p>\n Like Lammens, Harry Maguire has also been linked with Madrid by the Spanish press.<\/p>\n According to Defensa Central<\/a>, a Real Madrid-centric news outlet that is often speculative and whose reports have to taken with a pinch of salt, Maguire has been \u2018offered\u2019 to Madrid following the injury to Eder Militao.<\/p>\n However, a January transfer is unlikely, with sources telling us that Man Utd are planning to hand Maguire a new contract and extend his stay at Old Trafford<\/a>.<\/p>\n Micky van de Ven (Tottenham Hotspur)\u00a0\u2013 Centre-back<\/p>\n While Madrid may not be too keen on signing a 32-year-old, Los Blancos are definitely in for Micky van de Ven.<\/p>\n David Alaba and Antonio Rudiger are out of contract at Madrid at the end of the season, and both are in their 30s and have had injury problems.
