On Thursday, the America East Conference and the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference announced the creation of the America East-MAAC Basketball Challenge.<\/p>\n
The early season showcase is a two year agreement that will run begin in the 2026-27 season and run through the 2027-28 season. Each team will play in two games against a team from the opposing conference. One game will be at home, the other on the road.<\/p>\n
The first edition of the cross-conference matchups will take place from Thursday, November 5 through Sunday, November 8 in 2026.<\/p>\n
