\n\tThe legal battle involving Jane\u2019s Addiction and frontman Perry Farrell has come to an end. According to court documents obtained by People<\/a> Friday, bandmates Dave Navarro, Eric Avery, and Stephen Perkins settled their lawsuit against Farrell following their infamous onstage fight<\/a> in 2024.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Superior Court of California, County of Los Angeles, dismissed the lawsuit, originally filed in July, on Monday, Dec. 22.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe dismissal also arrives about a week after Farrell issued a public apology<\/a> to his bandmates over the incident, accepting that he \u201cdidn\u2019t handle myself the way I should have.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cJane\u2019s Addiction has been at the center of my life for decades. The band, the songs, the patrons, and the impact that we\u2019ve had on music and culture mean more to me than any words I could ever possibly write down,\u201d Farrell wrote at the time. \u201cMy aim has always been to give our audience the best possible show, something real, honest and positive. In Boston, we fell short of that, and I\u2019m truly sorry to everyone who was impacted.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tJane\u2019s Addiction also shared a statement of their own, saying that the band \u201cunilaterally determined it would be best to not continue the tour,\u201d adding that they \u201cmade inaccurate statements about Perry\u2019s mental health, which we regret.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe band wrapped its note by confirming the end of the group: \u201cJane\u2019s Addiction will forever live in our hearts. We are proud of the music we created together.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tNavarro, Avery, and Perkins originally accused Farrell of assault, battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, negligence, breach of fiduciary duty, and breach of contract. The suit alleged that the group lost over $10 million as a result of the tour\u2019s cancellation and cessation of all band activities.<\/p>\n
