In fact, it just means we are primed and ready for the next crop of amazing shows and believe us when we tell you\u2013there\u2019s plenty coming.<\/p>\n<p>Whether you\u2019re looking forward to the return of some favorites or ready to binge watch something new, keep reading for out list of some of the most highly anticipated shows dropping in 2026!<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWonder Man\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Starring: Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Ben Kingsley, Lauren Glazier<\/p>\n<p>Synopsis: Aspiring Hollywood actor Simon Williams (Abdull-Mateen II) is struggling to get his career off the ground. During a chance meeting with Trevor Slattery, an actor whose biggest roles may be well behind him, Simon learns legendary director Von Kovak is remaking the superhero film \u201cWonder Man\u201d. These two actors at opposite ends of their careers doggedly pursue life-changing roles in this film as audiences get a peek behind the curtain of the entertainment industry.<\/p>\n<p>Premiere Date: Jan. 27<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHijack\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Starring: Idris Elba, Christine Adams, Max Beesley<\/p>\n<p>Synopsis: In season two of \u201cHijack,\u201d a Berlin underground train and its commuters are taken hostage, while above ground authorities scramble to save hundreds of lives. Sam Nelson (Elba) is at the heart of the crisis on board, where one wrong decision could spell disaster.<\/p>\n<p>Premiere Date: Jan. 14<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCross\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Starring: Aldis Hodge, Isaiah Mustafa, Matthew Lillard<\/p>\n<p>Synopsis: Per <a href=\"https:\/\/ew.com\/cross-season-2-preview-ben-watkins-matthew-lillard-exclusive-photos-11857312\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">a new interview with Entertainment Weekly,<\/a> season two of \u201cCross\u201d will take place outside of Washington D.C. and will see some secondary characters get some serious screen time.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn season 2 in particular, we get to really see Sampson (Mustafa) deal with some emotional stuff,\u201d show creator Ben Watkins explained. \u201cHe was a support system for Cross in season 1. Those tables get turned a little bit in season 2 because Sampson\u2019s got his own personal journey that really sends him to some places. And so that was a lot of fun for us.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Premiere Date: Feb. 11<\/p>\n<p>\u201cParadise\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Starring: Sterling K. Brown, Julianne Nicholson, James Marsden<\/p>\n<p>Synopsis: Season two of \u201cParadise\u201d will see Xavier (Brown) searching for his wife Teri out in the world and learning how people survived the three years since The Day.
