3. Harbaugh not focus about Wild Card opponent<\/p>\n

The Chargers are currently the No. 6 seed in the AFC postseason picture and have numerous playoff seeding scenarios<\/a> that could play out.<\/p>\n

But Harbaugh said Monday that the Chargers aren’t worried about which seed they end up with and which opponent they draw in the Wild Card Round.<\/p>\n

“Health and winning, that’s it,” Harbaugh said of the Bolts main focus. “There’s no way to predict. We’re going on the road [in the] first round, all potential teams would be good.<\/p>\n

“We’ll get ourselves ready for that,” Harbaugh added. “Play the game, win the game then find out where we’re going, that’s the objective.”<\/p>\n

The Chargers can still potentially get the Nos. 5, 6 or 7 seed and currently could face off against six different opponents in the opening round of the postseason.<\/p>\n

4. Bouncing back from Week 17<\/p>\n

The Chargers dropped a Week 17 home game against the Texans in a tough 20-16 loss<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Harbaugh on Monday said a few “uncharacteristic” mistakes helped lead to the loss but added that he was proud of hos his team fought for 60 minutes.<\/p>\n

“There were some uncharacteristic things, but the grit, the fight of our team, can’t wait to take it to this week and beyond into the playoffs,” Harbaugh said. “I’m proud of our team every week and this past week was no different. Definitely some things to clean up and learn from and we’ll go about that this week.”<\/p>\n

The Chargers Head Coach was later asked about which issues he thought were “uncharacteristic,” and pointed to all three phases.<\/p>\n

Offensively, the Bolts were 2-of-5 in the red zone while the defense allowed a pair of rare long touchdown passes to open the game.<\/p>\n

And kicker Cameron Dicker missed field goal from inside 40 yards for the first time in his career and pulled an extra point wide for the first time this season.<\/p>\n

“There was a couple things defensively, a couple special teams, a couple of things on offense,” Harbaugh said. “They were uncharacteristic. Total confidence and belief in our team.”<\/p>\n

5. All love for the Bolt Fam<\/p>\n

No, the Bolts couldn’t complete a late rally Saturday night against the Texans.<\/p>\n

But Harbaugh on Monday credited the Bolt Fam for helping the Chargers nearly pull off the comeback.<\/p>\n

“I meant to say it right after the game \u2026 just how phenomenal the crowd was,” Harbaugh said. “The fire marshal told us that was the loudest he’s ever heard that stadium.<\/p>\n

“It was a huge part \u2014 their enthusiasm combined with our toughness and our grit and our never-give-up attitude \u2014 that was huge part in us coming back in that football game,” Harbaugh added.<\/p>\n

Herbert also commented on the raucous home crowd after Saturday night’s game.<\/p>\n

“I thought it was awesome. It was a lot of Chargers fans, and I think that’s really cool and the environment \u2013 I think how much the community has given us, I think its really cool to be able to see that from the fans,” Herbert said.<\/p>\n

“I’m sorry that we didn’t get it done for them. We felt their support, felt their noise, but it was a cool experience to see so many Chargers fans,” Herbert added.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"3.
