Zambia&#8217;s defence had little answer to the hosts&#8217; onslaught, looking nervy from the opening 20 seconds &#8212; with El Kaabi dispossessing <a data-player-guid=\"001ce48f-e8f4-3f10-9daf-8a77a43eaf0f\" href=\"http:\/\/espn.com\/soccer\/player\/_\/id\/308395\/dominic-chanda\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Dominic Chanda<\/a> from the kickoff but lacking conviction in his finish &#8212; while Ezzalzouli fired straight at Mwanza moments later.<\/p>\n<p>The introduction of <a data-clubhouse-guid=\"a0d67357-ae33-565b-26bf-61b162c9d74c\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/soccer\/team?id=244\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Real Betis<\/a> wideman Ezzalzouli to the starting XI had given Morocco a true Clasico feel to their front line, with the 24-year-old, who spent two years at <a data-clubhouse-guid=\"58f7c4a9-c991-4ed4-fe5c-1f833cba75b8\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/soccer\/team?id=83\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Barcelona<\/a>, dovetailing superbly with Real Madrid&#8217;s Diaz. Zambia struggled to get hold of the ball, and it was Diaz who went closest to adding a third before the break, stabbing wide at the far post after being picked out by Ezzalzouli following more fine work from Ounahi.<\/p>\n<p>El Kaabi added the coup de gras five minutes after the restart with another goal of the tournament contender, having netted a bicycle kick against Comoros in the opener. Here, it was another acrobatic effort, as moving backwards, he threw himself up in the air to connect with Ounahi&#8217;s cross prompting jubilant celebrations across the Moroccan capital.<\/p>\n<p>Arguably the biggest cheer of the night was reserved for Achraf Hakimi when he was introduced as a 64th-minute substitute for <a data-player-guid=\"a4c11a48-923e-dc3d-bba0-77a565e28648\" href=\"http:\/\/espn.com\/soccer\/player\/_\/id\/239350\/noussair-mazraoui\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Noussair Mazraoui<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The right-sider looked lively after his introduction, and his return will come as a major boost for Atlas Lions head coach Walid Regragui, who had begun to feel the pressure after his side&#8217;s world record winning streak came to an end against <a data-clubhouse-guid=\"67b2097d-3d05-561c-cc23-86bd5a4b768f\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/soccer\/team?id=2849\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Mali<\/a> in matchday two.<\/p>\n<p>Morocco, advancing as group winners, will now face one of the best third-placed teams from Group C, D or E in Rabat on Jan. 4, while Mali will meet Group C&#8217;s runner-up &#8212; likely <a data-clubhouse-guid=\"11090cca-6664-482e-ceb7-3b70b3297cc7\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/soccer\/team?id=659\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Tunisia<\/a> &#8212; in Casablanca on Jan. 3.<\/p>\n<p>The Eagles dominated possession against Comoros, but had <a data-player-guid=\"2d2899de-f913-c32e-b7de-3531e6fadf0a\" href=\"http:\/\/espn.com\/soccer\/player\/_\/id\/228557\/amadou-haidara\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Amadou Haidara<\/a> dubiously sent off late on to set up a tense final few minutes.
