The question is: Does he get a seventh season?<\/p>\n<p>Stefanski declined on Monday to address his future, saying he is \u201cprivileged to have this job\u201d when asked whether he wants to continue with the team beyond this season. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs you can imagine, <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/story\/_\/id\/47446171\/kevin-stefanski-mum-future-privileged-browns-coach\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">my sole focus is on this game<\/a> versus Cincinnati,\u201d Stefanski said, via Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN.<\/p>\n<p>The Browns are 7-26 the past two seasons, casting question about Stefanski\u2019s job security. He twice has won coach of the year honors but has a 44-56 regular-season record and a 1-2 postseason record.<\/p>\n<p>Stefanski signed an extension before the 2024 season as did General Manager Andrew Berry.<\/p>\n<p>Stefanski was asked whether he had any discussions with ownership or has been given an indication about how the Browns will address his future.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI understand the question, but I never get into those type of discussions,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Kevin Stefanski will finish his sixth season as head coach of the Browns.
