Former hip-hop mogul Damon Dash\u2019s filmmaking company was sold for a measly $100 at a Tuesday auction that aimed to offset $1 million he owes from defamation lawsuits.<\/p>\n

Despite the desperate attempt to cover his debt through the auction, only one bidder showed up and bought the Roc-A-Fella Records co-founder<\/a>\u2018s film company for a mere $100.50.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think he\u2019s a fool, man,\u201d said Mike Muntaser, CEO of Muddy Water Motion Pictures, who submitted the winning bid \u2014 and who has a claim to the $973,000 stemming from Dash losing a trio of civil lawsuits.<\/p>\n

Dash declared bankruptcy<\/a> in September, claiming to have only a few thousand dollars to his name \u2014 despite owing $25 million in federal and state taxes, child support and other debts.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The production company for sale, Poppington LLC, included rights to Dash\u2019s best known film, \u201cHonor Up,\u201d which included acting by Dash, Cam\u2019ron, and Stacey Dash. Chris Brown<\/p>\n

At least $5 million of that is owed in civil lawsuits with Brown\u2019s clients.<\/a><\/p>\n

Dash has faced the threat of jail time for previously refusing to pay up<\/a> his civil debts, and Brown said the bankruptcy claim is just another effort to avoid paying.<\/p>\n

Attorney Chris Brown hoped that outside bidders would offer at least a few hundred thousand dollars for the collection \u2014 but none showed up.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s more of an undertaking of what they viewed Dash\u2019s work to be as opposed to anything else,\u201d he said, noting that Cam\u2019ron recently referred to \u201cHonor Up\u201d as \u201cwack\u201d in an Instagram post.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cLike, no one cares that you went to China. Mr. Dash,\u201d Brown said of one of the films. \u201cI guess I really don\u2019t know what to make of that.\u201d<\/p>\n

Muntaser told The Post at the auction that the purchase was a \u201cjab\u201d at Dash, whom he blames for dragging him through years of litigation instead of sitting down like \u201cgrown men\u201d and resolving their differences.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s just a problem,\u201d Muntaser said. \u201cHe has an ego. I think he\u2019s just bitter [coming] from where he was to where he is and he just blames everybody else and doesn\u2019t look at himself in the mirror.\u201d<\/p>\n

Muntaser and filmmaker Josh Webber have successfully sued Dash twice for defamation.\u00a0<\/p>\n

And just last week, the pair filed a third defamation suit against Dash for comments he made after appearing on the popular \u201cBreakfast Club\u201d podcast earlier this fall.<\/p>\n

\u201cFrankly, what I desire the most, is for him to just stop talking about my clients,\u201d said attorney Chris Brown. Georgett Roberts<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s just silly,\u201d said Brown, who will also get his share of $33.50 from the auction after winning his own civil lawsuit against Dash for $150,000.<\/p>\n

Dash\u2019s latest allegedly slanderous statement, Brown said, is similar to claims he testified to at an earlier defamation trial.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo I have no idea why he continues to slander Josh [Webber],\u201d Brown told The Post. \u201cFrankly, what I desire the most is for him to just stop talking about my clients.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cFor him being on a big stage with like Jay-Z and [Ye],\u201d Muntaser said, \u201cwhy are your peers doing good, [being] constructive and you\u2019re just playing games with others?\u201d<\/p>\n
