\n\tJoe Rogan<\/a> wasn\u2019t too pleased with President Donald Trump<\/a>\u2018s controversial post, attacking Hollywood filmmaker Rob Reiner after his tragic death<\/a> earlier this month.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn a rant posted on Truth Social <\/a>following the news, Trump said Reiner\u2019s death was \u201creportedly due to the anger he caused others through his massive, unyielding and incurable affliction with a mind crippling disease known as TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME, sometimes referred to as TDS.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tDuring a recent episode of his podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience<\/a>, featuring comedian Shane Gillis, Rogan criticized the president\u2019s remarks, saying someone should\u2019ve taken Trump\u2019s \u201cfucking phone\u201d away from him.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThe Rob Reiner<\/a> thing is not funny,\u201d he said. \u201cWhen you see it with no empathy, that\u2019s when it\u2019s hard to like. Listen, there\u2019s no justification for what he did that makes any sense in a compassionate society. It\u2019s no different than people that were celebrating when Charlie Kirk got shot. It\u2019s the same kind of thing.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cImagine if Obama tweeted something about someone after they died in this way. That this person was a deranged person that hated Obama,\u201d Rogan continued. \u201cIt just shows you how crazy it is, the way Trump thinks and talks. It\u2019s just like, the guy got sliced up by his kid, you know? Anybody that doesn\u2019t see that and go, \u2018Fuck, man.’\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe podcaster added that he was \u201cso disappointed\u201d by Trump\u2019s comments in the wake of Reiner\u2019s death. \u201cIt\u2019s like why\u2026 if you say that privately, that\u2019s one thing, which is also crazy, but it\u2019s so disappointing,\u201d he told Gillis. <\/p>\n

\n\tTrump even doubled down on his comments shortly after his initial post, calling the filmmaker a \u201cderanged person\u201d during a press conference in the Oval Office, adding, \u201cI think he hurt himself career-wise; he became like a deranged person, Trump Derangement Syndrome.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tRogan joins many who spoke out against Trump over his comments, including GOP Reps. Marjorie Taylor Greene and Thomas Massie.<\/p>\n

\n\tReiner, and his wife, Michele Reiner<\/a>, were found dead<\/a> inside their Los Angeles home on Dec. 14.
