“If you let fear kind of gauge what you’re trying to do, then you’ll try to sell things. Then you don’t know when to get back,” he said. “It’s kind of staying the course, and whether you do it on your own or if you’re working with a financial professional, just having a process.”<\/p>\n
Aquila says she spent most of 2025 on a tight budget. Her partner is trying to bring in more as we head into the new year.<\/p>\n
“He’s currently looking for another job,” said Aquila.<\/p>\n
She’s hoping 2026 will offer opportunity for her family to make new memories.<\/p>\n
“I wish I had extra money to do the fun things and vacations,” she said. “I would love to take my family on a vacation, but I just can’t right now.”<\/p>\n
The Bank Rate survey also found that 19 percent of Americans said paying down debt is their main financial goal for 2026.
