Sophie Cunningham<\/a> made plenty of headlines during her first season with the Indiana Fever<\/a>. Her most memorable moment is probably when she was ejected after she avenged Caitlin Clark<\/a> with an aggressive foul against the Connecticut Sun last June.<\/p>\n

However, as many fans may remember, Cunningham already went viral even before the campaign due to a preseason statement.<\/p>\n

To recall, after the Fever’s preseason opener against the Washington Mystics<\/a> in May \u2014 during which Cunningham recorded 21 points, eight rebounds and two assists \u2014 the WNBA<\/a> veteran had a funny moment when she struggled to say the popular phrase “breath of fresh air.”<\/p>\n

Instead, Cunningham ended up saying “fresh of breath air,” which many took notice of. Cunningham took it in stride and used the quote<\/a> in a post to make fun of herself, which drew a reaction from Clark.<\/p>\n

“Not only did you double down \u2026 your triple down that this was the correct saying,” Clark commented at the time.<\/p>\n

On Wednesday, before the new year, Cunningham looked back at the year<\/a> she had and shared several photos and videos that summed up her campaign. Surprisingly, she included a clip of the iconic preseason moment.<\/p>\n

Clark, once again, reacted to the video. She shared Cunningham’s post on her Instagram stories and wrote, “I love a fresh of breath air.”<\/p>\n

Clark often trolls Cunningham on social media, so her latest post certainly isn’t surprising.<\/p>\n

For what it’s worth, Cunningham is well aware of her Fever teammate’s social media antics, which is why she said before that Clark is the last person she would want to handle her socials.<\/p>\n

“1000% Caitlin. A 1000%,” Cunningham said previously<\/a>. “She is a [expletive] starter, and so she would definitely, you know, start some stuff on there.”<\/p>\n

Cunningham averaged 8.6 points, 3.5 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 1 steal per game in her first season with the Fever. She entered the offseason as a free agent.<\/p>\n
