The Los Angeles Dodgers<\/a> are always in the picture.<\/p>\n

That appears to be true for the consensus No. 1 free agent available, Kyle Tucker.<\/p>\n

The Dodgers have been said for most of the process to not be expected to offer Tucker as long a deal as some other teams.<\/p>\n

But it also sounds like they’re still hanging around.<\/p>\n

MLB.com’s Mark Feinsand provided<\/a> this update in a new article out Thursday night:<\/p>\n

“The Dodgers are also lurking as a possibility for Tucker, who would make the two-time defending World Series champions even more dangerous as they take aim at a threepeat.”<\/p>\n

The Dodgers sometimes do much more than lurk. They just go get their guy.<\/p>\n

But Feinsand writes that the Blue Jays are the favorites for Tucker, with the Mets also in the picture.<\/p>\n

The Dodgers might be, in a weird way, the fallback guy.<\/p>\n

But Tucker hasn’t gone off the board yet, which means the door is still open.<\/p>\n

He’s a superstar hitter who will likely remain that for at least a few more years, if not longer.<\/p>\n

He’d certainly help the Dodgers be even more of a threat to three-peat. So don’t count L.A. out in this process.<\/p>\n
