{"id":38450,"date":"2025-07-26T09:49:10","date_gmt":"2025-07-26T09:49:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/38450\/"},"modified":"2025-07-26T09:49:10","modified_gmt":"2025-07-26T09:49:10","slug":"landon-dickerson-discusses-the-eagles-right-guard-outlook","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/38450\/","title":{"rendered":"Landon Dickerson discusses the Eagles\u2019 right guard outlook"},"content":{"rendered":"<p id=\"MRst4k\">The Eagles returned all but one of their starters from the 2024 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sbnation.com\/super-bowl\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Super Bowl<\/a>-winning offense, and will need to fill the right guard spot over the next few weeks.<\/p>\n<p id=\"ufphcP\">The team has several young guys who can step up, and they also have a few veterans who can fill that spot. Started left guard Landon Dickerson spoke to reporters after the team\u2019s second training camp practice, and gave some insight into how that competition is shaking out.<\/p>\n<p id=\"LfmaAd\">\u201cI think [Tyler] Steen\u2019s doing a tremendous job. As he\u2019s gotten more comfortable \u2014 he\u2019s had a couple years, some starts in him, some games, I think he\u2019s getting more comfortable now in that position. Obviously, the more you practice, the more you feel comfortable, the better you get.<\/p>\n<p id=\"BGWHeZ\">I think also having guys like Matt Pryor, a guy that\u2019s been here before, a veteran guy, Kenyon [Green], whose also been in the league for a little bit. Lot of good guys, lot of young guys coming along, really getting better.<\/p>\n<p id=\"swKxcA\">I think Trevor Keegan\u2019s done a tremendous job coming back from where he was last season to this season. So, really excited about this group of guys.\u201d<\/p>\n<p id=\"TeMflO\">Dickerson later talked about Keegan also getting some work at center this offseason, as well as Brett Toth, who are taking reps as Cam Jurgens works his way back from his back injury. He noted that Keegan has been cross-training at center since last season, and continues to improve as he gets more practice and more comfortable with the position.<\/p>\n<p id=\"azCxAF\">Still, Dickerson is more than willing to step over to center if he\u2019s asked to.
