It may not be happening in 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Via Jeff Duncan of the New Orleans Times Picayune, ongoing negotiations <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nola.com\/sports\/saints\/new-orleans-saints-game-in-paris-could-be-in-jeopardy-for-2026\/article_8c87eb01-854d-4db0-a3e4-b7f13c8116f3.html?taid=69584e3e728b090001cb6500&amp;utm_campaign=trueanthem&amp;utm_medium=social&amp;utm_source=twitter\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">may not be concluded in time<\/a> to allow a game to happen during the next regular season.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere is no agreement in place with any cities or countries beyond the ones that have been officially announced,\u201d NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy told Duncan. \u201cWe have a process. There is no definitive timeline (for an announcement). It depends on discussions with local countries, cities and stadiums.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Saints president Dennis Lauscha said in November 2025 that the team and the league hope to play a regular-season game at Stade de France in 2026.<\/p>\n<p>The Saints will have nine home games in 2026, eight in 2027, and nine in 2028. It makes sense to host an overseas game in a year that otherwise would have eight games that count in the Superdome.<\/p>\n<p>Whenever the Saints host a game in Paris, it\u2019ll be the NFL\u2019s first ever game in France.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"The Saints will eventually play a regular-season home game in Paris.
