Meghan McCain and her husband, Ben Domenech, have welcomed their third baby together \u2014 a boy named Ransom McCain Domenech<\/p>\n

The couple’s son was born on Jan. 2, PEOPLE can exclusively reveal<\/p>\n

McCain and Domenech are already parents to daughters Liberty, 5, and Clover, 2<\/p>\n

Meghan McCain<\/a> and Ben Domenech<\/a> have welcomed their third baby.<\/p>\n

The couple’s son, Ransom McCain Domenech, was born on Friday, Jan. 2, PEOPLE can exclusively reveal.<\/p>\n

\u201cEveryone is happy, healthy and exhausted,” McCain tells PEOPLE in a statement. “We\u2019re absolutely over the moon that our baby boy is here.”<\/p>\n

“We\u2019re so grateful to the incredible doctors and medical staff who took such wonderful care of all of us,” McCain \u2014 who is already a mom to daughters Liberty Sage, 5, and Clover Jade, 2<\/a> \u2014\u00a0continues.<\/p>\n

She adds, “Liberty and Clover are so excited to have a baby brother. Our family is so blessed.”<\/p>\n

McCain, whose parents are Cindy McCain<\/a> and the late U.S. Senator\u00a0John McCain<\/a>, shared her pregnancy news exclusively with PEOPLE in June.<\/p>\n

She later expanded on her pregnancy while speaking with second lady Usha Vance<\/a> for her podcast, 2Way’s Citizen McCain with Meghan McCain<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“I hope you don’t mind. I wanted to let you in on something that’s private that I haven’t talked about publicly yet,” McCain told Vance, 39, at the time.<\/p>\n

“I have two little girls. They are almost 5 and almost 3. And I just am entering my second trimester, I’m pregnant with my third,” she continued.<\/p>\n

“I know this is a weird way to announce it, but I’m very nervous about,” McCain added. “It’s a boy. I’m very nervous about having a boy. And I’m very nervous about having three children. Very.”<\/p>\n

McCain spoke with PEOPLE in 2023 about how she believes in “keeping things really basic<\/a>” when it comes to her parenting style.<\/p>\n

“I feel so lucky just to have children because\u00a0I didn’t know if I was ever going to be able<\/a>\u00a0to have children,” she said at the time. “I feel so lucky to be in this really sweet spot in my life right now.”<\/p>\n

Added the former co-host of\u00a0The View: “I just really try and live in a moment with them and really appreciate everything, even when it’s not glamorous.”<\/p>\n
