The stress fracture first forced him to withdraw from a tournament before his third-round match at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.atptour.com\/en\/tournaments\/roland-garros\/520\/overview\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Roland Garros<\/a> last May. <\/p>\n<p><a rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.atptour.com\/en\/apps?utm_source=atp&amp;utm_medium=article&amp;utm_campaign=app_banner\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.atptour.com\/en\/news\/-\/media\/&#10;9333ed00493246e6a2ad692fa18710b7.ashx\" alt=\"The Official App Of Tennis | Download ATP WTA Live App\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p> Fils made an initial comeback in August at the National Bank Open Presented by Rogers in Toronto, but that proved to be his final event of the 2025 season after he felt \u2018a warning sign\u2019 in his back in Canada. <\/p>\n<p> A three-time ATP Tour titlist, the 21-year-old Fils is the current No. 39 in the PIF ATP Rankings.
