Third Space, an upscale health club chain in London, has opened its first-ever dedicated Hyrox training studio. The deal marks Hyrox\u2019s embrace of the luxury fitness scene, at least in the U.K. market<\/p>\n

Hyrox continues to stake its claim to being the world\u2019s hottest fitness brand, this time deepening its relationship with Third Space, an upscale fitness chain with 14 locations in the London area.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Third Space announced this week that it had opened its first-ever dedicated Hyrox training studio, located inside the brand\u2019s Canary Wharf location, a 100,000-square-foot facility described as Europe\u2019s largest luxury health club.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The new studio area is designed to help Third Space members train for Hyrox races, which have become highly popular across the globe<\/a>. It includes a large black turf field, Centr-branded Hyrox competition equipment<\/a> including power ropes, medicine balls and power sleds, as well as treadmills, SkiErgs and RowErgs.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Third Space has also introduced two new Hyrox-themed group fitness classes: \u201cEngine\u201d and \u201cPower.\u201d Those classes join the operator\u2019s existing Hyrox classes, including \u201cTrain\u201d and \u201cRun.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

Hyrox\u2019s partnership with Third Space comes as the viral fitness racing brand signed a groundbreaking digital content deal with Peloton<\/a> earlier this week. It also comes as Hyrox-themed classes and workouts become a staple in gyms and studios across the world.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Earlier this month, Hyrox announced a deal with Everlast Gyms<\/a> to launch 60 Performance Centers across the U.K. and Ireland by 2028. Hyrox has also struck recent partnerships with Gold\u2019s Gym<\/a> and New York Sports Club<\/a> in the U.S., who join existing partners including F45 Training<\/a>, PureGym and Fitness Park, among many others.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cWe believe the sport of Hyrox<\/a> can be trained inside every fitness facility around the world in the same way you go to yoga or HIIT class,\u201d Hyrox chief growth officer Douglas Gremmen told Athletech News earlier this year.<\/p>\n

The deal with Third Space<\/a> is important for another reason: it marks Hyrox\u2019s embrace of the luxury fitness scene, at least in the U.K. market. America\u2019s luxury fitness scene, by contrast, has been a bit tougher for the fitness racing brand to crack.\u00a0<\/p>\n

While Equinox has posted online content about how its members can train for Hyrox events<\/a>, it doesn\u2019t yet have any dedicated Hyrox classes or training spaces at its clubs.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Life Time, meanwhile, might be gearing up to directly compete with the fitness racing brand. At its flagship Minneapolis location, the luxury club operator has staged pilot runs of its own functional fitness competition, the \u201cLT Games<\/a>,\u201d Life Time has teased that it\u2019ll be bringing the competition to more cities this year.\u00a0<\/p>\n
