Several Arsenal players have been on Real Madrid\u2019s radar in recent years.<\/p>\n

Mikel Arteta<\/a> has turned the Gunners into one of the best clubs in the world, and the squad he has built is filled with incredible players.<\/p>\n

Most of this current Arsenal squad was involved in the 5-1 hammering of Real Madrid in the Champions League<\/a> last season. <\/p>\n

Some players caught president Florentino Perez\u2019s eye at the time. Declan Rice<\/a> is one of them. <\/p>\n

Arsenal star Declan Rice is Real Madrid\u2019s \u2018dream\u2019 target<\/p>\n

Several Arsenal players have been linked with a move to Real Madrid.<\/p>\n

William Saliba was firmly on the Galacticos\u2019 radar<\/a>, and they were dreaming about signing him to solve their defensive issues. <\/p>\n

However, the Frenchman rejected Real Madrid and chose to sign a new contract at Arsenal.<\/p>\n

After missing out on Saliba, Defensa Central<\/a> have now claimed that Los Blancos\u2019 new \u2018dream\u2019 is to sign Rice from the Gunners.<\/p>\n

It has been claimed that Perez loves Rice and would be delighted if he could land him for Real Madrid as they look for midfield reinforcements.<\/p>\n

The report further says that if there was one player from England the Galacticos\u2019 president would like to sign, it\u2019s Rice, not Manchester City\u2019s Rodri<\/a>.<\/p>\n

However, any move to recruit the Arsenal number 41 has been described as \u2018impossible\u2019 because Arteta is completely \u2018opposed\u2019 to his departure.<\/p>\n

Rice still has two-and-a-half years left on his contract at the Emirates, and the Gunners have an option to extend that by another 12 months. <\/p>\n

Arsenal need to extend Declan Rice\u2019s contract<\/p>\n

It is no surprise at all that Real Madrid are looking at Rice.<\/p>\n

The former West Ham man is the best midfielder in the world right now, and he would walk into any team, including the Galacticos. <\/p>\n

Arsenal<\/a> will obviously not entertain any offers for Rice, but with his contract expiring in 2028, talks over a new deal need to take place as soon as possible. <\/p>\n

We\u2019re sure Andrea Berta<\/a> has that on his agenda already, and we expect this deal to be wrapped up before the end of this season.<\/p>\n
