He was the Ravens beat writer for the Baltimore Sun from 2000-2011.<\/p>\n<p>PITTSBURGH &#8212; The <a data-clubhouse-guid=\"38248455-3da4-84e4-8090-98b5cc38ffdc\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/team\/_\/name\/bal\/baltimore-ravens\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Baltimore Ravens<\/a> ruled out Pro Bowl safety <a data-player-guid=\"b528bb83-eea2-8d7f-db71-0fd0d32f8c2f\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/player\/_\/id\/4575517\/kyle-hamilton\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Kyle Hamilton<\/a> in the second half of Sunday night&#8217;s 26-24 loss to the <a data-clubhouse-guid=\"debcd592-8d53-71f1-fc15-5c8b8ef9df6e\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/team\/_\/name\/pit\/pittsburgh-steelers\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Pittsburgh Steelers<\/a> because of a concussion.<\/p>\n<p>Hamilton had a helmet-to-helmet collision with teammate <a data-player-guid=\"e2d12236-a437-3499-fa6d-a930b63e08b3\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/player\/_\/id\/4039413\/alohi-gilman\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Alohi Gilman<\/a> while defending a pass on the first drive of the second half. Hamilton was evaluated for a concussion and then carted off to the locker room before being ruled out.<\/p>\n<p>Gilman was also evaluated for a concussion.<\/p>\n<p>It had been a strong game for Hamilton, who had nine tackles before the head injury.
