So, like if I&#8217;m not moving, I feel awful, you know?&#8221; she said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">She says she varies her workouts according to her mood, doing yoga on some days and weightlifting on others.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"link rapid-noclick-resp\" href=\"https:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/kate-hudson-mom-biggest-parenting-lesson-veteran-mother-apology-accountability-2025-3?utm_medium=referral&amp;utm_source=yahoo.com\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:Kate Hudson;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\">Kate Hudson<\/a> says there&#8217;s one thing she can&#8217;t skip each day if she wants to feel like herself.<\/p>\n<p>During an appearance on Wednesday&#8217;s episode of the &#8220;<a class=\"link rapid-noclick-resp\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=v7yWCZ8PCrI\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:Table Manners;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\">Table Manners<\/a>&#8221; podcast, the 46-year-old spoke about her approach to wellness and the daily habit she prioritizes even when she&#8217;s busy.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I danced. So, like if I&#8217;m not moving, I feel awful, you know? And I&#8217;m like the kind of person that&#8217;s like, and even if it&#8217;s 20 minutes a day, you&#8217;re golden,&#8221; Hudson told podcast hosts Jessie and Lennie Ware.<\/p>\n<p>The actor said she often uses that to encourage people who are reluctant to start exercising.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I&#8217;m like, just go in for 20 minutes. Just like, move your body. Just go lift some weights. Stand in front of the mirror and just do something,&#8221; Hudson said.<\/p>\n<p>Even a <a class=\"link rapid-noclick-resp\" href=\"https:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/short-walk-a-day-could-reduce-risk-early-death-study-2023-2?utm_medium=referral&amp;utm_source=yahoo.com\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:small amount of daily movement;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\">small amount of daily movement<\/a> can create a &#8220;domino effect&#8221; that motivates people to make healthier choices and be more active, she said.<\/p>\n<p>Hudson said she varies her workouts depending on how she&#8217;s feeling, sometimes focusing on yoga, stretching, and breathwork, and other times on weightlifting.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Even this morning, it&#8217;s like, I couldn&#8217;t not wake up and move my body,&#8221; she said.<\/p>\n<p>She told <a class=\"link rapid-noclick-resp\" href=\"https:\/\/www.womenshealthmag.com\/life\/a29701944\/kate-hudson-interview\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:Women&#039;s Health;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\">Women&#8217;s Health<\/a> in a 2019 interview that she eats about five times a day and her go-to workout is Pilates.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I love how flexible I get and what it does to the shape of my body,&#8221; Hudson said.<\/p>\n<p>In an October interview with EatingWell, Hudson shared her <a class=\"link rapid-noclick-resp\" href=\"https:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/kate-hudson-morning-routine-phone-free-sunlight-outdoors-meditation-2025-10?utm_medium=referral&amp;utm_source=yahoo.com\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:morning routine;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\">morning routine<\/a>, which includes going outside barefoot and spending time in the sun.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I wake around 6 a.m. and do some sort of meditation practice while I drink warm water with lemon. I also try not to look at my phone during this time,&#8221; Hudson said.<\/p>\n<p>Hudson isn&#8217;t the only celebrity who has spoken about fitting shorter workouts into their busy schedules.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"link rapid-noclick-resp\" href=\"https:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/helen-mirren-workout-routine-air-force-cannes-2023-5?utm_medium=referral&amp;utm_source=yahoo.com\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:Helen Mirren;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\">Helen Mirren<\/a>, 80, has long been a fan of a 12-minute military workout developed by the Royal Canadian Air Force in the 1950s.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It is the exercise I have done off and on my whole life. It just very gently gets you fit,&#8221; Mirren said.<\/p>\n<p>In February, <a class=\"link rapid-noclick-resp\" href=\"https:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/kristen-bell-daily-routine-fitness-diet-parenting-2025-1?utm_medium=referral&amp;utm_source=yahoo.com\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:Kristen Bell;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\">Kristen Bell<\/a>, 45, told Business Insider that she tries to fit short bursts of exercise into her days by treating them like exercise &#8220;snacks.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I keep a set of 10 or 15-pound weights underneath furniture so when I&#8217;m cooking dinner, if I haven&#8217;t worked out that day, I&#8217;ll do a set of bicep curls or shoulder presses while something simmers on the stove.
