A new picture of Tatiana Schlossberg enjoying life with her family has been released.<\/p>\n

On Monday, January 5, the JFK Library Foundation shared a family photo of the late environmental journalist<\/a> smiling with her husband George Moran, and their two children, son Edwin and daughter Josephine, just three months before her tragic passing.<\/p>\n

In the candid shot \u2014 which, according to People<\/a>, was taken at Martha\u2019s Vineyard in September \u2014 the family is sitting on the grass outside in the sunlight.<\/p>\n

The post<\/a> also included a snap of an excerpt from Schlossberg\u2019s 2019 book Inconspicuous Consumption: The Environmental Impact You Don\u2019t Know You Have.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cAs we remember Tatiana and celebrate her life, our hearts are with her family and all who loved her,\u201d the post was captioned, with photo credit given to Elizabeth Cecil.<\/p>\n

Fans filled the comment section with love for Schlossberg, noting that the photo captured her joy.<\/p>\n

As Globe previously reported,<\/a> the JFK Library Foundation announced on Tuesday, December 30, that Schlossberg \u2014 whose mom is Caroline Kennedy \u2014 had passed away at 35.<\/p>\n

In her November essay for The New Yorker<\/a>, Schlossberg revealed that she had been diagnosed with a terminal form<\/a> of acute myeloid leukemia after giving birth to her second child.<\/p>\n

In her piece, Schlossberg shared that she was trying to be in the moment, soaking up the time she had left with her children.<\/p>\n

\u201cMostly, I try to live and be with them now. But being in the present is harder than it sounds, so I let the memories come and go,\u201d Schlossberg wrote. \u201cSo many of them are from my childhood that I feel as if I\u2019m watching myself and my kids grow up at the same time.\u201d<\/p>\n
