The Honors Course serving as host for the U.S. Women\u2019s Amateur this August headlines the schedule of USGA and Tennessee Golf Association tournaments in 2026. The Pete Dye designed layout in Ooltewah that was refined by Gil Hanse four years ago continues to add to the legacy of founder Jack Lupton as a monument to amateur golf.<\/p>\n
The Honors staged the U.S. Senior Amateur in 2024 and is the future site for the 2031 U.S. Amateur, furthering its esteemed history of hosting championship events. The course has also been the site of the 1991 U.S. Amateur, 1994 Curtis Cup, 1996 and 2010 NCAA Men\u2019s Championships, 2005 U.S. Mid-Amateur, 2011 U.S. Senior Women\u2019s Amateur and the 2016 U.S. Junior Amateur in addition to numerous TGA championships. <\/p>\n
The championship is scheduled to run August 4-9, and Stanford University senior Megha Ganne claimed the 2025 title after defeating Brooke Biermann by a 4 and 3 count in the 36-hole final held at Bandon Dunes Golf Resort. <\/p>\n
Highlighting the 2026 TGA calendar is the return of the 111th Tennessee State Amateur to Memphis Country Club, one of the original three courses to ever host the event in 1916. The storied course will test players\u2019 mental fortitude and challenge their creativity on the Donald Ross classic as the championship makes its 10th appearance at Memphis CC scheduled for June 23-26.<\/p>\n
The top female golfers in the state will descend on Brentwood Country Club July 7-9 for the 94th Tennessee Women\u2019s Amateur. This is just the second time the course has hosted this tournament, the first being in 1992 when Lisa Luigs emerged victorious.<\/p>\n
The Tennessee State Open will return to Grasslands Club for the second year in a row, but this time, golfers head to the Fairvue course. Grasslands Club\u2019s Foxland course played host to the 76th Tennessee State Open when Vanderbilt product Harrison Ott won the event by a stroke.<\/p>\n
For the 18th year in a row, the Tennessee Women\u2019s Open will take place at the beautiful Stonehenge Golf Club. Fairfield Glade is continuing their partnership with the Tennessee Golf Association and the Tennessee PGA Section to support the Tennessee Women\u2019s and Senior Opens.<\/p>\n
The Tennessee Junior Amateur and Girls\u2019 Junior will be held concurrently once again, this time heading to Westhaven Golf Club. This will be the second TGA championship the club has hosted after welcoming the Tennessee Women\u2019s Match Play in 2024. The two championships will take place between June 9-11 in Franklin.<\/p>\n
The Tennessee Women\u2019s Match Play returns to the schedule in 2026, with Franklin\u2019s Temple Hills Country Club set to host the event from June 29 to July 1.<\/p>\n
