Adam Sandler tees off again in ‘Happy Gilmore 2’<\/p>\n

Adam Sandler returns in “Happy Gilmore 2” with Julie Bowen, Christopher McDonald\u2014and a Travis Kelce cameo you didn\u2019t see coming.<\/p>\n

Spoiler alert! We’re discussing major plot details from the sequel \u201cHappy Gilmore 2<\/a>\u201d (streaming now on Netflix<\/a>).<\/p>\n

It\u2019s all in the hips.<\/p>\n

Adam Sandler\u2019s oafish pro golfer<\/a> is back on screen for the first time in nearly 30 years, in a new movie<\/a> that follows the titular Happy Gilmore as he attempts to get back in the game and raise his five kids after the death of wife Virginia (Julie Bowen) in a hurtling golf ball accident. Christopher McDonald, as Happy\u2019s nemesis Scooter McGavin, and Ben Stiller, as abusive orderly Hal L, have also returned.<\/p>\n

Here are some of the most memorable A-list appearances from actors, musicians and athletes throughout the new movie:<\/p>\n

Bad Bunny<\/p>\n

The Puerto Rican hitmaker continues to make inroads into acting, after 2022\u2019s \u201cBullet Train\u201d and Darren Aronofsky\u2019s \u201cCaught Stealing\u201d (in theaters Aug. 29). Here, he plays Oscar, a good-natured busboy-turned-caddie for Happy.<\/p>\n

Benny Safdie<\/p>\n

After co-directing Sandler in 2019\u2019s nail-biting \u201cUncut Gems,\u201d Safdie chews the scenery as main antagonist Frank Manatee, the conniving owner of a sports drink company.<\/p>\n

Travis Kelce<\/p>\n

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end (and beau to Taylor Swift<\/a>) makes an amusing cameo as a strict restaurant manager, whom Oscar dreams of covering in honey and feeding to a bear.<\/p>\n

Please Don\u2019t Destroy<\/p>\n

The \u201cSaturday Night Live\u201d viral sketch trio appears throughout the movie: Martin Herlihy, who is also the son of the film\u2019s co-writer, Tim Herlihy, plays an amateur golfer who mercilessly taunts Happy when he comes out of retirement. Ben Marshall and John Higgins also make blink-and-you\u2019ll-miss-it cameos as irreverent, shirtless spectators during a game.<\/p>\n

Eric Andr\u00e9 and Margaret Qualley<\/p>\n

Like Herlihy, the stand-up comedian and \u201cThe Substance\u201d actress pop in as unimpressed putters who fall victim to a fiery golf cart crash at the hands of the inebriated Happy.<\/p>\n

Eminem<\/a>, Post Malone and Kid Cudi<\/p>\n

The rappers all have small but memorable roles in the new film: Eminem, as a bearded heckler named Donald Jr.; Malone, as outlandish golf commentator DJ Omar Gosh; and Cudi, as an FBI agent who apprehends Stiller\u2019s character at the end of the movie.<\/p>\n

Guy Fieri<\/p>\n

The \u201cDiners, Drive-ins, and Dives\u201d favorite drops in late in the movie as a golf tournament official who gets the crowd fired up.<\/p>\n

Haley Joel Osment<\/p>\n

The Oscar-nominated child star, best known for \u201cThe Sixth Sense\u201d and \u201cA.I. Artificial Intelligence,\u201d has a substantial supporting role as Happy\u2019s cocky golf rival Billy Jenkins.<\/p>\n

Steve Buscemi<\/p>\n

The Hollywood veteran has appeared in many of Sandler\u2019s movies, including \u201cThe Wedding Singer\u201d and \u201cBilly Madison,\u201d and has a minor part here as Happy\u2019s eccentric neighbor.<\/p>\n

Ken Jennings<\/p>\n

The \u201cJeopardy!\u201d host plays himself at the start of the film, as a long-retired Happy is distressed to learn that none of the game show\u2019s contestants have any idea who he is.<\/p>\n

Sean Evans from ‘Hot Ones’<\/p>\n

Frank Manatee goes on a promotional tour in support of his sports drink brand, which includes an interview with celebrity wings master Evans, as well as real-life podcasters Bobby Lee and Alix Earle.<\/p>\n

Marcello Hern\u00e1ndez<\/p>\n
