We all know that morale at NASA (and its contractors) has taken a big hit given the massive loss of experience and expertise the agency experienced over the past year due to the forced reduction in personnel. (Yes, I know, much of the reduction came through people accepting deferred resignations. But considering the very real possibility of being fired facing those that didn\u2019t do so, I hardly think the decisions were voluntary.) And that\u2019s over and above the haphazard \u201creorganization\u201d taking place, particularly at Goddard. (Yeah, I know, the agency is \u201cjust following the detailed plan that was already developed.\u201d But you\u2019ll forgive me if I think speeding things up by cramming a reorganization that was planned to take 20 years down to 6 months is a little excessive.)<\/p>\n

But now we have one of NASA\u2019s (and the Navy\u2019s) finest being maliciously attacked by this administration for during his job, in his current capacity as a Senator, to speak out and hold the administration accountable to both the Constitution and the globally accepted rules of war.<\/p>\n

You know, I really don\u2019t think Isaacman realizes the ditch this administration has driven NASA (or any other agency that dares to, you know, do that sciency type of stuff) into.
