NuisancePro<\/a>, which caught the animal, the deer broke into the basement window Saturday and fell inside.<\/p>\n\u201cWe actually netted it, and we were going to use a blanket, but the animal had been in there a couple days, so it was a little bit tired out, and we were able to just grab on to it by hand and take it out,” said Nathan Seelow, owner and operator of NuisancePro.<\/p>\n
According to Seelow, the owners weren’t home at the time of the break-in — and the deer wasn’t discovered until Monday morning when a neighbor noticed it in the basement. Since the deer had spent a few days in the house, it had time to make its way around.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s a mess. Glass and poop everywhere,” Seelow said.<\/p>\n
He told FOX 11 an animal winding up in a home is more common than you’d think.<\/p>\n
\u201cEvery season we deal with that. Anything from squirrels chewing up windows to raccoons coming down chimneys, to deer smashing through windows,” he said.<\/p>\n
After getting out of the confines of the house, the deer was immediately released into the wild.
