Rocker Ted Nugent<\/a> tore into a list of anti-Trump music-makers during a rambling New Year\u2019s Day rant on right-wing cable network Real America\u2019s Voice.<\/p>\n

Starting 2026 hot, the \u201cCat Scratch Fever\u201d singer, MAGA devotee and Real America\u2019s Voice regular attacked The White Stripes\u2019 frontman Jack White<\/a>, rapper Eminem<\/a>, pop-punk pioneers Green Day<\/a>, and Rage Against The Machine\u2019s Tom Morello with a baffling mix of insults, musical praise, baseless political claims and random guitar riffs.<\/p>\n

Here are some highlights from the 12-minute TV spot, which Nugent shared to his YouTube channel<\/a>:<\/p>\n

Jack White and Eminem<\/p>\n

Nugent applauded White\u2019s joint performance with Eminem<\/a> during the Detroit Lions\u2019 Thanksgiving game against the Green Bay Packers, saying he \u201cdelivered real rock and roll\u201d that sounded like \u201creal Detroit piss and vinegar.\u201d<\/p>\n

But barely a breath later, he labeled the fellow Detroit natives \u201ctotal idiots.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThey don\u2019t want their country to have secure borders. They think men should destroy women\u2019s sports. Well, that\u2019s not\u2026 that\u2019s exactly what they stand for,\u201d Nugent claimed.<\/p>\n

Though both artists have taken aim at President Donald Trump<\/a>, neither White nor Eminem have voiced specific stances on transgender athletes. White did call out Trump for his \u201cgestapo ICE tactics\u201d and history of \u201cracist remarks\u201d in an Instagram post last summer<\/a>. The rapper born Marshall Mathers has been mostly mum on the issue of immigration, however.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey think we should invite jihadists in who announce they want to kill the infidels,\u201d Nugent added hysterically. \u201cThey announce they want to kill Americans. And Jack White and Eminem say, \u2018Yeah, bring them in. Bring those guys in.\u2019 Freaks, idiots.\u201d<\/p>\n

Appearing to pull from the president\u2019s signature stream of consciousness style, Nugent abruptly changed the topic to the band Green Day.<\/p>\n

\u201cGreen Day, there\u2019s not a brain amongst them, I don\u2019t think,\u201d he said of the group, whose core lineup consists of singer, guitarist and longtime GOP critic<\/a> Billie Joe Armstrong<\/a>, bassist Mike Dirnt and drummer Tr\u00e9 Cool.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut man, can they play really, really killer stuff.\u201d<\/p>\n

Tom Morello<\/p>\n

Next on Nugent\u2019s hit list was Rage Against The Machine guitarist and avowed anticapitalist, Tom Morello.<\/p>\n

While Morello once described the \u201cWango Tango\u201d wild-man as a \u201cgood friend\u201d <\/a>whose \u201clibertarian edge\u201d sometimes lined up with his own \u201canarchist\u201d inklings, Nugent couldn\u2019t even get his name right.<\/p>\n

\u201cTom Morello, is that his name? Tom Morel?\u201d he asked before accusing the guitarist and activist of being a phony who is part of \u201cthe machine.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cCome on Tom, you got to know that,\u201d Nugent said. \u201cYou\u2019re not raging against the machine. You are the machine.\u201d<\/p>\n

Rounding things out with some more unfounded opinions about everyone he mentioned, Nugent told Real America\u2019s Voice, \u201cThey don\u2019t believe that America should have secure borders, which means they don\u2019t believe in America. Which means they want to have a great successful [sic] like in America, but they don\u2019t think you should be able to have one.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ted\u2019s Take<\/p>\n

A fan of the president since the start of his political career, Nugent has played at multiple Trump rallies and was also a personal guest of the White House back in April 2017.<\/p>\n

Last May, he told Michigan-based news outlet MLive<\/a> that he sees Trump as America\u2019s \u201csavior from the depth of corrupt cruelty perpetrated by our government.\u201d<\/p>\n
