A noted film, etc. composer in his own right, Bates has been collaborating with Manson for over a decade now. He had joined up with Manson as a touring member since Manson set out to relaunch his career in 2024 following <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theprp.com\/2025\/12\/16\/news\/judge-once-again-dismisses-sexual-battery-lawsuit-brought-against-marilyn-manson-by-his-ex-assistant\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">a series of allegations being leveled against the shock rocker<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement made today, January 05th, Bates had the following to say about his departure:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHello, Good People. Every New Year prompts reflection on all that has transpired and what lies ahead. In light of this, I have decided to conclude my time touring with Marilyn Manson to focus on my artist, film, and television projects. I have enjoyed every minute working and performing with my bandmates, Gil Sharone, Reba Meyers, and Matt (Piggy D) Montgomery. They are stellar humans on and off stage. I will miss performing with them for the incredible audiences we met around the planet in support of \u2018One Assassination Under God: Chapter One.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019m stepping away, but I will be actively supporting the upcoming release of \u201cChapter Two,\u201d my fourth album with Manson, which I believe is our finest work together. I wish M, the band, and the crew the best of success and good times moving forward. Thank you, the fans, for your loyalty and support of our new music and performances. I wish you all the very best for a fantastic and peaceful 2026. TB\u201d<\/p>\n<p>His below Instagram post also drew comments from his now former Manson bandmates, with guitarist\/vocalist Reba Meyers (Code Orange, etc.) stating, \u201clove you tyler will miss you up there.\u201d Drummer Gil Sharone added, \u201cMuch love Tyler!\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>In other news, Manson himself turned 57 today, January 05th. The controversial musician rung in his latest year with a star-studded birthday party attended by the likes of Billy Corgan (The Smashing Pumpkins), ex-Hole vocalist Courtney Love, former Manson\/current M\u00f6tley Cr\u00fce guitarist John 5, composer\/musician Danny Elfman, Billy Idol, etc. guitarist Billy Morrison, former Manson guitarist Tim Skold, Better Lovers, etc. frontman Greg Puciato, Manson\u2018s ex-wife Dita Von Teese, death pop duo VOWWS, and many more.
