On his Africa tour, the streamer took on a cheetah, creating a wild viral moment that\u2019s got everyone talking. He gave it everything, but just barely came up short. However, he proved just how close a human can get to outrunning the fastest land animal on Earth.<\/p>\n

The epic race went down just days into IShowSpeed\u2019s Africa tour<\/a>, which kicked off on December 29, 2025. True to his high-energy, viral-ready style, Speed lined up for a sprint against a cheetah, instantly grabbing the internet\u2019s attention. While warming up, the cheetah accidentally scratched his leg, leaving a small cut\u2014but that didn\u2019t slow him down a bit.<\/p>\n

When the race started, the cheetah blasted. The footage makes it look nail-bitingly close. However, with the feline achieving top speeds of 68-75 mph, way beyond human limits (Usain Bolt maxes out at 27.78 mph), it was always going to be a tough challenge. Still, Speed crossed the finish line just behind the cheetah, leaving fans shaken and cheering for his effort.<\/p>\n
