\n\tHilary Duff<\/a>\u2018s husband and singer-songwriter, Matthew Koma, is weighing in on Ashley Tisdale<\/a>\u2018s recent essay in The Cut<\/a>, in which she explained that she had to leave her \u201ctoxic mom group.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tOn Tuesday, in a post that was viewed by The Hollywood Reporter, and now deleted, Koma shared a photo of himself photoshopped onto Tisdale\u2019s body with a fictional headline that reads: \u201cWhen You\u2019re The Most Self Obsessed Tone Deaf Person On Earth, Other Moms Tend To Shift Focus To Their Actual Toddlers.\u201d He also includes the subhead: \u201cA Mom Group Tell All Through A Father\u2019s Eyes.\u201d And captioned the post: \u201cRead my new interview with @TheCut.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tTHR reached out to Tisdale and Duff\u2019s reps for comment but didn\u2019t hear back.<\/p>\n

\n\tKoma\u2019s post comes after Tisdale revealed that she once felt like she found her \u201cvillage\u201d of people but was then excluded from her friend group and had to end those friendships in an essay in The Cut, titled \u201cBreaking Up With My Toxic Mom Group,\u201d published on Monday. While Tisdale doesn\u2019t mention the moms by name, she was previously in a mom group that included Duff.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI remember being left out of a couple of group hangs, and I knew about them because Instagram made sure it fed me every single photo and Instagram Story,\u201d she wrote. \u201cAnother time, at one of the mom\u2019s dinner parties, I realized where I sat with her \u2014 which was at the end of the table, far from the rest of the women. I was starting to feel frozen out of the group, noticing every way that they seemed to exclude me. At first, I tried not to take things personally. It\u2019s not like people aren\u2019t allowed to get together without me \u2014 and maybe there were perfectly good reasons that I hadn\u2019t been invited. We were all busy, life was hectic.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tShe continued, \u201cAs I increasingly felt left out, I remembered something. Or rather, someone. During the early days of the group, there was another mom who often wasn\u2019t included. I\u2019d picked up on hints of a weird dynamic, but at the time, I didn\u2019t dwell on it too much. I was just so happy to have found these incredible, smart, funny women. Now it seemed that this group had a pattern of leaving someone out. And that someone had become me.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe High School Musical actress added that she doesn\u2019t know why she was excluded and \u201cprobably never will.\u201d She also described how the experience made her feel like she was \u201cin high school again\u201d and \u201ctotally lost.\u201d All of which led her to reach out to the group and express how she felt.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThat\u2019s exactly what I texted to the group after being left out from yet another group hang: \u2018This is too high school for me and I don\u2019t want to take part in it anymore.\u2019 It didn\u2019t exactly go over well,\u201d she recalled. \u201cSome of the others tried to smooth things over. One sent flowers, then ignored me when I thanked her for them. Another tried to convince me that everyone assumed I\u2019d been invited to gatherings and just hadn\u2019t shown up.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe actress concluded her essay by sharing a message for people who have gone through similar experiences. \u201cYou deserve to go through motherhood with people who actually, you know, like you.
