\u00a0Stagwell has appointed WPP veteran\u00a0Wendy Lund\u00a0to
\nthe dual role of\u00a0Global CEO\u00a0Allison Worldwide and\u00a0to the holding company-level\u00a0position,\u00a0Vice\u00a0Chair-Health.\u00a0The appointment is effective Jan.\u00a012\u00a0and she
\nwill be based in New York\u00a0and report to Allison WW Executive Chair Ray Day and Stagwell CEO Mark Penn.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Lund succeeds Jonathan Heit in the Allison WW role. Heit is leaving the agency. The\u00a0vice
\nchair-health position\u00a0is new\u00a0and signals a renewed interest in the healthcare space\u00a0by the holding company.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Most recently, Lund served as Chief Client Officer of WPP Health\u00a0for the
\nlast three-plus years.\u00a0Previously, she was Chief Communications Officer at Organon, a women’s health company that spun off from Merck in 2021. Before that, she was
\nCEO\u00a0of\u00a0agency\u00a0GCI Health.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
As Global CEO of Allison, Lund will lead the agency’s global business operations, including supporting expansion plans and business strategy. In
\nher role as Stagwell’s Vice Chair-Health, she will lead Stagwell’s strategy in\u00a0the sector\u00a0and\u00a0identify\u00a0growth opportunities.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
In 2023 Stagwell sold healthcare
\nagency\u00a0ConcentricLife\u2014its major offering in the space\u2014to Accenture for $245 million. Stagwell\u00a0gained control of the agency through its\u00a0acquisition\u00a0of MDC
\nPartners.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
At the time of the sale, Penn said the proceeds\u00a0would be\u00a0reinvested in digital capabilities across the
\ncompany\u2019s\u00a0agencies,\u00a0as well\u00a0for\u00a0M&A and other uses.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
