(WCSC) \u2014 The North Charleston Police Department has released the name of a man suspected of shooting and killing a 4-year-old boy.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Police have secured arrest warrants for Duane Fransiqo Wright, 20. He is wanted by the North Charleston Police Department and the U.S. Marshals Service for murder, possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime, discharging a firearm into a vehicle and three counts of high and aggravated assault and battery.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"figure-img img-fluid mx-auto d-block\" alt=\"Police have secured arrest warrants for Duane Fransiqo Wright, 20. He is wanted by the North Charleston Police Department and the U.S. Marshals Service for murder, possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime, discharging a firearm into a vehicle and three counts of high and aggravated assault and battery.(Al Cannon Detention Center)<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">This is in connection to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.live5news.com\/2025\/12\/19\/coroner-identifies-gunned-down-north-charleston-child-community-mourns\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.live5news.com\/2025\/12\/19\/coroner-identifies-gunned-down-north-charleston-child-community-mourns\/\">the killing of 4-year-old Merci Watson<\/a>, who was shot Dec. 16.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">As the investigation has continued, police say they made a major development; Tuesday, they discovered a black BMW 740 Series sedan they say was linked to the incident, leading them to Wright.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">U.S. Marshals are offering a $5,000 reward for any information that leads to Wright\u2019s capture. They do say Wright is considered armed and dangerous and has violent tendencies.
