Cameron Brink had to miss Unrivaled\u2019s first season in 2025 because she was still rehabbing an ACL tear she suffered as a rookie<\/a> in the WNBA. She was still around the league as a member of the Lunar Owls. Now, she is fully recovered from her injury and back on the court as a member of Breeze BC alongside Paige Bueckers, Dominique Malonga, Rickea Jackson, Kate Martin, and Aari McDonald.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Breeze BC is one of the most exciting teams<\/a> in Unrivaled and already secured its first win against Phantom BC. Paige Bueckers led the way with 24 points, but Rickea Jackson and Dominique Malonga were also big. Jackson scored 16 points, including the game-winner, and Malonga recorded a double-double with 17 points and 14 rebounds.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Cameron Brink was not a big part of the win, as she was limited to only seven minutes on the court. Her lack of playing time had nothing to do with a lack of talent or a struggle to establish herself as a contributor on this young team. Brink got into foul trouble way too quickly. If she doesn\u2019t fix that issue soon, her impact may be limited all season long.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Cameron Brink racked up five fouls in just seven minutes<\/p>\n

Brink came off the bench behind Malonga in her first Unrivaled game. She entered the game with 2:50 left in the first quarter. 40 seconds later, she committed her first foul when Kiki Iriafen drove to the basket for Phantom.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Then, Brink added two more fouls in less than thirty seconds to close out the quarter. She committed her second foul with 38.1 seconds left when she let Tiffany Hayes steal a rebound and tried to tie her up. With 12.8 seconds left in the first quarter, Brink smacked Iriafen\u2019s arm when she drove to the basket.\u00a0<\/p>\n

With three fouls, Brink didn\u2019t get to play at all in the second quarter. She only came back into the game with 5:26 left in the third. She lasted four minutes before committing her fifth foul. First, she was called for a moving screen about fifteen seconds after entering the game. Then, she fouled Iriafen when fighting for a rebound with 1:12 left in the third.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Having Brink and Malonga on the same team is a huge advantage for Breeze. The duo offers unique size and length on both ends of the floor, a versatile offensive game, and athleticism that not many other bigs can keep up with.
