The city&#8217;s Planning and Zoning Commission approved giving a special use permit to allow for a mini golf course to be built in place of the Woodcreek Athletic Club in August.<\/p>\n<p>The zoning commissioners approved the request from Sandhu Investments to grant a special use permit for the 2.51 acres at 6110 South Broadway Ave.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Putt-Putt Golf &amp; Games, the last remaining outdoor mini golf course in Tyler, closed down after roughly 64 years of business in August 2024.
