Golf superstar\u00a0Tiger Woods\u00a0may well be a reformed man when it comes to some of the vices he had in his younger days. But it sounds like the 15-time major champion sure still knows how to throw quite the party.<\/p>\n
Woods celebrated his 50th birthday\u00a0on Dec. 30. But the real fun will be on Jan. 14, when he\u2019s set to hold an exclusive, celebrity-packed event at The Breakers in Palm Beach, Fla.<\/p>\n
According to a report by David Rumsey of Front Office Sports, the party is branded \u201cED: Celebrating Legacy presented by EY US\u201d and will involve somewhere in the neighborhood of 300 people.<\/p>\n
There is, however, a charitable aspect to the big bash. It will also serve as the official launch of Woods\u2019 TGR Foundation\u2019s 30th anniversary fundraising campaign.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s a lot more than a birthday party, and it\u2019s a lot more than an event,\u201d TGR Foundation CEO Cyndi Court tells Front Office Sports. \u201cIt\u2019s an event that\u2019s culminating a year of work, and then launching a year of hard work going forward, and what we\u2019re going to do as we expand and grow.\u201d<\/p>\n
So, what will the party actually entail?<\/p>\n
Tiger Woods\u2019 50th Party Is Going To Be Epic<\/p>\n
While it may not quite live up to the level of Michael Rubin\u2019s iconic yearly white party in the Hamptons, Woods is still going to have quite the guest list that includes PGA Tour players like Justin Thomas, Pro Football Hall of Famer Michael Strahan, and Atlanta Falcons owner Arthur Blank.<\/p>\n
The menu is based on the champions\u2019 dinners from each of Woods\u2019 five Masters victories, which included steak and chicken fajitas, stuffed jalapenos, sushi, porterhouse steaks, crab cakes, and even cheeseburgers, French fries, and milkshakes.<\/p>\n
The party will also feature a live performance from Jon Bon Jovi, which is perhaps the most \u201cOh yeah, Tiger Woods is 50 now\u201d reminder you could imagine.<\/p>\n
