{"id":398273,"date":"2026-01-10T01:03:07","date_gmt":"2026-01-10T01:03:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/398273\/"},"modified":"2026-01-10T01:03:07","modified_gmt":"2026-01-10T01:03:07","slug":"trevon-diggs-says-hes-very-comfortable-in-packers-defense-ready-to-go-saturday","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/398273\/","title":{"rendered":"Trevon Diggs says he&#8217;s &#8220;very comfortable&#8221; in Packers&#8217; defense, ready to go Saturday"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Packers cornerback Trevon Diggs has only been in Green Bay for 10 days, but he says he\u2019s already confident in his role in the Packers\u2019 defense and ready to contribute Saturday night against the Bears.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/green-bay-packers-a2523ab935fe1e20e936b80df20ea13d\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">I\u2019m very comfortable<\/a>,\u201d Diggs said, via the Associated Press. \u201cI\u2019m ready for whatever.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Diggs started for the Packers against the Vikings on Sunday, just four days after he was claimed on waivers from the Cowboys. He played 33 snaps on defense and two snaps on special teams, and he said he\u2019s glad to still be playing, which he wouldn\u2019t be if he were still a Cowboy.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s a blessing,\u201d Diggs said. \u201cIt\u2019s hard to win in this league and it\u2019s hard to go to the playoffs, so just being here, being able to go to the playoffs, it\u2019s been truly a blessing and I\u2019m truly thankful.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Diggs says Green Bay feels like the right place for him.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt feels natural,\u201d Diggs said. \u201cIt feels normal. It just feels like a great fit. It\u2019s been great.
