Zach Bryan<\/a> famously remembers everything<\/a>, and now he\u2019s using it all to burn his ex, Brianna \u201cChickenfry\u201d LaPaglia<\/a>. Bryan released his newest album, With Heaven on Top, on January 9, just one week after he revealed on Instagram<\/a> that he\u2019d married his current girlfriend, Samantha Leonard. The record is both a celebration of his newfound joy with Leonard and a celebration that he\u2019s no longer with an ex (they broke up more than a year ago<\/a>) who he continually disses. On the song \u201cSlicked Back,\u201d he even directly compares the two. \u201cUsed to know some folks who put it all online \/ But you paint landscapes in the evening time,\u201d he sings. LaPaglia is an influencer and podcast host of Plan Bri on the Barstool Sports network, while Leonard apparently paints (as seen on Bryan\u2019s Instagram). Nothing more romantic than comparing your current wife to your successful ex-girlfriend!<\/p>\n

He goes into more detail about regretting his time with LaPaglia on a few additional tracks. \u201cI\u2019m taking a blade to my own skin \/ And I ain\u2019t ever touching yours again,\u201d he sings on \u201cSkin,\u201d for example. \u201cHow do tattoos take to your skin? \/ Does your higher ground ever sink in? \/ Do you love people just to win when it\u2019s over?\u201d Presumably, he\u2019s referencing the tattoo that LaPaglia claimed<\/a> he got of her before they even started dating.<\/p>\n

\u201cPlastic Cigarette\u201d sounds like an ode to a bad relationship. \u201cYou were collecting shells out on the bay shore \/ You know I was a shell before,\u201d he sings. \u201cDeep in the hands of another \/ My brother had told me to leave \/ But I didn\u2019t believe \/ That evil would mean some people you meet out in Queens.\u201d LaPaglia and Bryan met in Queens<\/a> originally, when she went to his concert at Forest Hills Stadium. LaPaglia hasn\u2019t acknowledged the mentions yet \u2014 according to her social media, she is busy perfecting her matcha recipe.<\/p>\n
