FOUNTAIN HILL, Pa. – St. Luke’s University Health Network is preparing to welcome the inaugural class of its new college.<\/p>\n

St. Luke\u2019s College of Health Sciences offers an associate degree in both radiography and respiratory care, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree for already licensed registered nurses (RN to BSN).<\/p>\n

The school, first announced in October of 2024 and approved by\u00a0the Pennsylvania Department of Education a year later, is now accepting applications for its first class, which will begin in May of this year. Interested students can learn more information here<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is a historic milestone for the Lehigh Valley,\u201d said Mary Grace Simcox, EdD, RN, and first president of the St. Luke\u2019s College of Health Sciences, in a news release. \u201cThe launch of the St. Luke\u2019s College of Health Sciences reflects a bold commitment to strengthening our health care workforce by providing an affordable, local pathway to high-demand careers complete with guaranteed clinical placements, hands-on learning, small class sizes, and clear opportunities for professional advancement.\u201d<\/p>\n

St. Luke’s University Health Network<\/p>\n

The college shares a campus with St. Luke\u2019s University Hospital \u2013 Bethlehem (Fountain Hill).\u00a0Respiratory care and radiography classes will be held at the Priscilla Payne Hurd Education Center, while the RN to BSN program will be offered fully online.<\/p>\n
